Mesh Renderer glitch when switching its parent

Hey guys, I'm getting this weird glitch when changing my ball's parent. You can see the whole situation here: http://webm.land/media/JiPI.webm At first, the ball has no parent. I add some force to it on Start(). Once it hits the floor, in OnCollisionEnter(), I set the floor as ball's parent - what happens next, you can see - the ball's renderer go nuts. Any idea why it's happening? I don't change neither ball or floor scale anywhere in my code. Using Unity 5.4.0f3, tried it on 5.3.5 but it didn't help.
